The San Diego Underground Film Festival is a showcase for experimental films & videos held annually in San Diego, California, USA. This year we have an exciting program that includes underground narratives, experimental films, live music, and 16mm film performances by artists who are both local and international.

Festival Passes & Day Passes

Festival Passes & Day Passes will grant access to the all screenings, performances, and installations that take place in Main Stage and gallery spaces throughout the entirety of the festival with individual screening reservations which can be made once this pass has been purchased.

 

Tickets and passes will be scanned via a QC code on your mobile device before each screening.

Festival Passes will be available online and at the door on the day of the event for the prices listed below:

Full Festival Pass

A Festival Pass will grant access to all screenings and events throughout the duration of the festival. Please note that individual screening/event tickets which can be made once this pass has been purchased will be required to secure your seat per desired event. This pass also allows entry to gallery spaces in the upper floors of the Tenth Avenue Arts Center.

Thursday Pass

A Thursday Pass will grant access to all screenings on Thursday, August 22 with individual screening reservations which can be made once this pass has been purchased. This pass also allows entry to gallery spaces in the upper floors of the Tenth Avenue Arts Center.

Friday Pass

A Friday Pass will grant access to all screenings on Friday, August 23 with individual screening reservations which can be made once this pass has been purchased. This pass also allows entry to gallery spaces in the upper floors of the Tenth Avenue Arts Center.

Saturday Pass

A Saturday Pass will grant access to all screenings on Saturday, August 24 with individual screening reservations which can be made once this pass has been purchased. This pass also allows entry to gallery spaces in the upper floors of the Tenth Avenue Arts Center.

A Sunday Pass will grant access to all screenings on Thursday, August 25 with individual screening reservations which can be made once this pass has been purchased. This pass also allows entry to gallery spaces in the upper floors of the Tenth Avenue Arts Center.

These passes can be purchased online using code "military_student_senior" or at the door. Please bring your valid student/military ID to purchase your discounted pass at the door.

Tenth Avenue Arts Center

The Tenth Avenue Arts Center was built in 1928 and originally served as a chapel for the military population of San Diego. With several generous donations, the space was transformed and reopened in 2007 as an arts haven and cultural center. The center is home to local theater companies, music festivals, spirits, and now the San Diego Underground Film Festival!

  • Take I - 5 S

  • Take the 10th Ave exit

  • Merge onto CA-163 S

  • Continue onto 10th Ave, the theatre will be on your right

From the San Diego Airport: 

  • Head west on Airport Terminal Rd

  • Slight left to stay on Airport Terminal Rd

  • Take the ramp to I-5/Downtown

  • Merge onto N Harbor Dr

  • Turn left onto W Grape St
